This is the start of a painting that I have been anxious to paint for quite a long time. The subject is from a photo I took while traveling in Amsterdam. I love the sassy stern of the this boat docked in a canal in Amsterdam. This little waterscape is 7"x5" and is the beginning composition showing my painting process.
