<strong>One-of-a-kind jewelry that "Awakens the Spirit"</strong>
Julie's Story Necklace Collection is a unique line of more than 30 extraordinary designs with poignant short stories accompanying them with such titles as "Imprisoned Prince"...."Intuition"...."Erosion"...."Choices" and more.
Jules Art is not just about jewelry...it's about making meaningful connections with people.
“In every necklace there lies a story says Jarvis” and when Julie began creating beautiful one-of-a-kind necklaces, her father, John Jarvis, took one look and said they needed a story to go with them. Mr. Jarvis became the storyteller and the “Story Collection” began and has grown to more than 30 designs.

The necklaces, bracelets, earrings and prayer beads are assimilated with Tibetan medallions, silver icons or semiprecious chunks of stone such as peridot, coral, turquoise or aquamarine. Often she attaches charms and dangles to add animation.

The wonderful and imaginative stories are written by her father John Jarvis. Jarvis said the key is to study the piece to see what story the piece tells. His gift has evolved from his travels around the world and his history of understanding the human condition as a practicing psychologist.

Brushstrokes Studio Gallery Presents
JULES ART
One of a kind jewelry that "awakens the spirit"
Friday, August 6, 2010
11 am-8 pm

Brushstrokes will be hosting a unique presentation of story jewelry by Texas artist Julie Jarvis with an evening of midsummer story reading.
Join us to hear the stories being read every 15 - 20 minutes on this midsummer night....and prepare for your heart to swell.
There is also a hand-made book that accompanies each necklace.

         <title>Identify Theft Show, May 7, 2010</title>
<description>The eclectic and fascinating talents of the artists of the Brushstrokes Studio Gallery will be manipulated, redirected, and reclaimed, at this unusual event scheduled for the evening of Friday, May 7, 2010 from 5:00 to 9 pm. The three artists are each known for a particular strength and style that sets them apart from one another. John K. Harrell, associated with his soft and luminous cityscapes, will be painting landscapes using a palette knife; one of the many tools of artist Kit Hevron Mahoney. Mahoney, known for a plethora of methods used to depict the graceful and spirited aspens, breathtaking mountain views, and various other Colorado driven imagery, will be composing still-life, a subject typically created with the generous strokes, and vintage styling of artist Anita Mosher. Mosher in turn will be addressing urban scenes with the unique perspective and articulation often used by Harrell.</description>
